Casual Friday

I love a casual Friday (or any day for that matter). When I was teaching high school, I would count down the days until Friday for obvious reasons, but also because I could dress casually. Since I am not teaching anymore, casual for me now is a tad more casual than when I was teaching, but comfy nonetheless!

I talked in this post about my love for my new military vest. Don't get me wrong, I still wear my old faithful one that I have had for quite some time, but I love how different this one is!

Pairing it with a comfy tee and my Chuck Taylor's was a no brainer! And speaking of Chuck Taylors- they go with everything. Everything! I have a pair of gray ones that I have worn to the bone, and a pair of yellow ones I wear for work. Although I was nervous getting the white, I am so glad I did. I have worn them so many times already, and I am not as particular as I thought I would be about keeping them clean. In fact, I kind of try to get them a little dirty when I wear them! I feel like they are so white that its like "HEY EVERYONE LOOK AT MY WHITE SHOES!!" Get your shades out because they are so bright!!! No? Just me? Ok.....so anyway...I totally recommend adding a pair of Chuck's to your closet-the perfect comfy alternative to sneakers!
