Wear it Two Ways Faux Fur

Ok so I am in love with this fur vest. I am so glad I waited until it was half off to purchase it. (Not worth the $80 full price...it is now only $23.99!). As you saw on this post I paired it with a gorgeous dress for a wedding....

Here is how I paired it the other day for some errands! I love when I can style something several different ways!

Faux Fur Vest: Target
Plaid Shirt: Old Navy (not available in this print)
Jeans: Old Navy
Shoes: Old Navy
Shades: Tory Burch
Bracelets: Stella and Dot: here, here

Necklace: Old Navy (in store only)

A little faux fur and plaid never hurt anyone, right? Don't you just love when you find something that you can wear multiple ways?

Is there a piece in your closet that you just love pairing with different things for different looks? If not, go take a look- I am sure you have something in your closet that works!! Try it! Wear it two ways!!

Have a great weekend, gals!

Faux Fur, Sequins and Stilettos

This past weekend I had the honor of watching a dear friend from college get married to the love of her life. Nothing beats that, right? I had strict orders from the bride to wear sparkles, sequins, etc. to the wedding. I mean, its only fitting, right? How can you not wear something shiny that close to NYE?

I talked before about what I would be wearing but it was awesome to have the day finally here! It was freezing and snowing and I had a terrible cold (to the point where I had to leave the church during the ceremony to go outside to have a coughing attack. And as I was trying to leave the old church I pulled the door knob off of the door. All while trying to be super quiet! Picture that and laugh.). BUT, there is something about getting all dolled up that makes you feel a little better! Am I right? Plus, I was excited to pair it with my faux fur vest from the Neiman Marcus/Target Collection (all 70% off now!). (You will see later in the week another way I wore the vest too)

Add A Little Sparkle

I am an online shopper. Most definitely. Sometimes though I get in a lazy mood and the walk from the couch to my purse to get my wallet is so.far.away. Yep. I am that lazy!! Because of that, I put a purchase on hold, or just forget about it all together.

So I was doing some online shopping the other night, looking for a cute pair of shoes...even though we are in the heart of winter, I am thinking ahead to spring (its pretty much my favorite season). Nothing says spring like a cute pair of Sperry's. I love them- they are comfy, casual and now there are so many styles to choose from!!

I recently picked up this gorgeous pair from ShoeBuy.com. I am SO excited for them to come in the mail!! Check them out...

Here is one way I can't wait to wear them...

Aren't they the cutest shoes? And they even come in other colors like black, and a gorgeous Raspberry!!

What sold me on these shoes, besides them being adorbs, was the fact that ShoeBuy uses V.me by Visa. This means I DON'T have to get up off the couch and walk the five feet to my purse to get my wallet!! Every lazy online shoppers dream! (Oh don't even judge- you get this lazy too and you know it!!). My purchase was so easy. All I had to do at checkout was select the V.me option and boom-my purchase was made without having to get up off my lazy toosh.

That's whats awesome about V.me. You can create an account, enter in your credit card info (and it doesn't even have to be a Visa!) and your info is saved! If the website you are using is a V.me approved website your checkout is so darn easy. Really. Then you can be as lazy as me when online shopping!! Haha! :)  And honestly, the quicker I make my purchase, the quicker my shoes get to me!

I'm kind of digging this V.me thing...I don't even have to get off my couch to online shop (although I am not sure how much my husband appreciates it- I am that much more likely to buy more now that its so accomodating)!

I'd check it out- its so simple- and if it sends you gorgeous shoes like my sweet, sparkly Sperry's heading to my closet how can you go wrong?!?!?

Bring on my cute Sperry's and heck...bring on the spring weather so I can wear these beauties!

This was a paid sponsor post. Although it is paid, all opinions and thoughts are my own. This post is brought to you by V.me by Visa. Online payment. Simple and secure.

Sheepishly Cute

Happy Friday! Hopefully you are all looking forward to another long weekend! I most certainly am looking forward to New Year's Day. My husband and I own our own business and NY Day is one of three days of the year we are closed. Stress free day for us! Yay! Anyway... I am linking up with Lauren for High Five for Friday!

1. First great thing about this week? This outfit...

I personally love this trend. I was so excited when I saw this at Old Navy! I even picked up with sweater with the fox AND the owl. I've already worn them, just haven't documented...I'll get on that!

2. I am so getting a tripod this weekend for my camera. Can't wait. My husband refused to take my pics outside because he said it was too cold. Reason # 3456548 I need a tripod!

3. I have a wedding this weekend- check out what I will be wearing here

4. Don't you just love when you randomly throw an outfit together and it just works? Thats what happened with this outfit. To me, pairing black, gray and white together is classic and I think somewhat refreshing for a wardrobe. Sometimes I get so caught up in mixing so many patterns and colors its good to start at zero with just a black canvas. I like to think it recharges my brain!! Haha

5. Its the weekend! Can't wait to get all dolled up!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

Blazer: Target (old) (similar)
Sweater: Old Navy (sold out in stores and online)
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Gap (similar)
Bracelet: Tiffanys (no longer available), Stella and Dot

And there you have it! I just loved the pairing of this outfit- like I said...its refreshing to revert to basic black and white. An easy and stylish way to recharge your fashion mind, don't you think?

Have a great weekend!

These are a few of my favorite things...

Hey ladies (and gents?)! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and were able to spend some quality time with loved ones and got everything you asked for (all the while not forgetting the TRUE meaning of Christmas)!

This year's Christmas was a low key one for me and that was perfectly fine with me! My husband and I decided not to exchange this year (makes me feel old). Also, his parents are getting us our landscaping (we will no longer be that house in the neighborhood with no landscaping) so we both had minimal gifts to open. To be honest, it was kind of refreshing!

The few gifts I did get to open though, were great (I did have a hand in picking them out for my mom and dad to give me!).

I am super excited to style these shoes. And they are from Old Navy! Love a good deal. I had been looking for leopard booties that weren't over the top or trashy looking-stumbled on these and fell in love!

I am also the person that when I find something I love I buy it in more than one color, which is where the gray ones come in. Why mess with a good thing?

What are some of your fave Christmas gifts you got? Can't wait to see what new finds the blogging world will be introducing over the next week or two! I think I love seeing what others get just as much as I like getting new things!

Linking up today with Shanna today...head over to her blog (one of my daily reads) and link up for Random Wednesday! Love that its Wednesday already!
